It was scary for me, the start of reducing income without a steady paycheck. I made up my mind that no matter what I had to do or how long it would take.. The only way I’d fail is if… I Quit!
An old-timer told me that over the years the most successful Adventures that he knew about was when a person’s passion became their Adventure with a lifelong commitment. That certainly has been the case with me. I love every second that I am on Goat Hill Ranch, nestled by the Grand River in Gallatin, Missouri. My goat herd is more than just animals out in the field. I care for them very dearly and they respond to my friendship. My goats and I have a very special relationship that has developed over the years.
Collectibles is a passion in itself… I am very passionate about Fenton, Carnival Glass, Roseville ceramics and Morgan silver dollars. It is hard for me to go to auctions and not spend hundreds of dollars, if not thousands. Building or adding a product to a growing collection is a fantastic pastime of mine.
I am a country-girl. Working on Goat Hill Ranch, attending goat auctions and estate auctions are not only my passion, but my life.
